The best selling sarees at Mogasu are not best sellers because they are the safest choices, they are best sellers because they are the most specific ones. The cashew blossom that customers recognise from a Goan memory they did not know they had. The indigo jaal that photographs beautifully at every event. The mustard yellow mul cotton that someone bought for a haldi and then wore every week after.
Our bestsellers are chosen by the women who wear them, not by a trend forecast or a commercial algorithm. They are the prints that prompt the most messages, the most photographs tagged, the most orders from women who bought one and came back for another. They are the Goa-inspired prints that have proven, across many wearings and many occasions, that they were worth making.
Each bestselling saree is hand block printed in Bagru, Rajasthan using custom wooden blocks and azo free dyes on natural fabric, mul cotton, linen, Chanderi or Kota Doria. Made in small batches, so a bestseller can sell out and stay sold out.
