White in Goa is a canvas that makes everything around it more vivid, and that is exactly what a white saree block print does. Our white saree collection uses a natural white or crisp ivory base, mul cotton, linen and Chanderi, onto which our Bagru artisans press Goa-inspired motifs using custom wooden blocks and azo-free dyes. The contrast between the clean white ground and a single bold colour, a deep indigo bird, a terracotta floral, a green botanical, is one of the most striking things a hand block print can produce.
