Saree for Mehendi Ceremony Block Print

The mehendi ceremony calls for colour, not the restrained colour of a formal occasion, but the full, joyful colour of a celebration that has not started being serious yet. At Mogasu, this is where our most vibrant hand block prints come into their own: the tropical florals, the multicolour layers, the bold Goa-inspired prints that carry the energy of a Goan market in full swing.

Our mehndi ceremony block print sarees are printed in Bagru, Rajasthan using azo free dyes in the warm, vivid palette of the Goan coast, the bougainvillea pinks, the cashew yellows, the deep kokum reds. Custom wooden blocks pressed by hand onto mul cotton and linen, in prints that look exactly as good in the mehndi photographs as they feel to wear during a long, happy afternoon.

Available as a ready-to-wear option. Light enough for an outdoor afternoon in any season.
