Finishing

Pitkuli is a bright red flower from my childhood memories. We as kids used to suck out the nectar from the flower and later after almost 20 years I came across this plant in Goa. I never knew the name as a kid but found this Konkani word cute. Our Pitkuli saree comes in linen with a sky blue base and red pitkuli flower patterns on the body, and a silver zari on pallu and borders. The pallu is covered with a geometric tile pattern in red and blue.

At Mogasu, apparel is hand dyed and hand blocked printed by skillful artisans with love and precision. You might notice some imperfections - a testimony to the 100% original hand printing techniques. The colours might slightly differ due to lighting and photography.

Each saree is approximately 5.5 m in length and 45 inches in width. All sarees come with an 80 cm unstitched blouse piece. All sarees come with edging and tassels :)

Finishing

All sarees come with edging, tassels and an 80 cm blouse piece. Read FAQs to know more about each finishing option in detail.

Product care

Linen sarees should be dry cleaned only. Since the colours are dark, do expect some colour bleeding in case the saree gets wet. Don't worry, the colour will not fade. Iron at low temperature.
