Craft Saree India Buy Online

A craft saree is one where the craft is the point, not the decoration on top of a manufactured product, but the entire reason the saree exists in the form it does. At Mogasu, the block printing craft of Bagru, Rajasthan is not applied to our sarees. It is inseparable from them.
When you buy a craft saree online in India from Mogasu, you are buying the accumulated knowledge of artisans who have spent careers learning a single skill to an exceptional level. The wooden block is carved by hand. The dye is loaded by eye. The impression is pressed with the weight and angle that experience teaches. The colour is matched without instruments, purely from knowledge of how a specific pigment behaves on a specific fibre.
Our founder brings the design, Goa-inspired motifs drawn from lived experience on the coast. Our artisans in Bagru bring the craft. The saree is the result of both.
