Collection: Geometric Block Print Saree

Geometry has always lived at the heart of block printing, the repeat, the grid, the precise placement of each impression that turns a single motif into an all-over pattern. At Mogasu, our geometric block print sarees draw that geometry from a very specific source: the tiles, doorways, mosaic floors and colonial architecture of Goa.
Portuguese azulejo tiles. The arched ironwork of a Fontainhas balcony. The mosaic floor of a heritage home in Chandor. The latticed window of an old Goan church. Our founder has spent years photographing these details and translating them into block-print motifs, each one simplified into the clean, pressable forms that a wooden block demands, then custom-carved by our artisan partners in Bagru, Rajasthan. The result is geometric sarees that are rooted in a specific architectural tradition rather than a generic design impulse. Precise, considered, and entirely connected to a place. Printed by hand on Mul Cotton, Chanderi, Kota Doria and linen using azo-free dyes. Made in small batches. Free shipping anywhere in India. Pre-washed, with a matching blouse piece.
