Goa Aesthetic Saree

The Goa aesthetic is specific,  and anyone who has spent real time here knows the difference between a brand that uses Goa as a backdrop and one that actually lives it. Mogasu lives it. Our founder has been on this coast long enough to know which beach is worth getting up early for, which market has the best kokum, and exactly what colour the sea turns at four in the afternoon.
That specificity is what makes a Mogasu saree look different from every other brand that puts the word Goa on its label. The prints are not tropical-generic. They are Fontainhas specific, cashew harvest specific, Goan fish-market, specific. The colours are not summer colourful. They are Goan-laterite terracotta and Arabian Sea indigo and monsoon, paddysage.
Each motif is custom carved into a wooden block in Bagru, Rajasthan and pressed by hand using azo free dyes. Small batches. Free shipping India. With matching blouse piece.
The Goa aesthetic, made by someone who has earned the right to it.
