Collection: Kota Doriya Block Print Saree

The name changes Kota Doria, Kota Doriya, Kota Dori but the fabric remains constant in its beauty. This fine Rajasthani weave, made from a blend of cotton and silk in a signature square khat pattern, has been produced in the Kaithoon village near Kota for centuries. It is one of India's great fabric traditions, and at Mogasu, we honour it by printing it the way it deserves entirely by hand. Our Kota Doriya block print sarees are printed in Bagru, Rajasthan, where our artisans use wooden blocks to apply Goa-inspired prints onto the fabric with a precision that can only come from experience and practice. Every cashew motif, every geometric border, every small detail is pressed in by hand. The prints are ours designed in Goa, where our founder draws from the coast she fell in love with. The craft is Rajasthan's. The combination is something you will not find anywhere else. Comes with a matching blouse piece. Designed and shipped from Goa.
