Pre Stitched Saree India
A pre-stitched saree is a regular saree, same fabric, same print, same blouse piece , with the draping work already done for you. At Mogasu, every saree in the collection can be pre-stitched into a ready-to-wear format, which means the print you choose for its beauty does not have to be a print you can only wear when you have time to drape. The pre-stitching takes the pleats, sets them and stitches them in place. The pallu is attached at the correct point. The result is a garment you step into rather than wrap around yourself, closer to a skirt and a stole than a traditional draped saree, but looking entirely like a saree to anyone in the room. Our pre-stitched sarees in India are hand block printed in Bagru, Rajasthan using custom wooden blocks and azo free dyes on mul cotton, linen, Chanderi and Kota Doria.
