The art of Azulejos - hand painted ceramic tiles, traveled from Portugal to Goa. A traditional goan house has this decorative tile in front of their house either in the form of a nameplate or as a decorative wall, if not on the entire floor! Mogasu’s Azulejo design is created using 3 intricate blocks. The dark & light blue, and beige colours make the saree stand out, and the Mul cotton material makes it the most comfortable piece of clothing ever!
At Mogasu, apparel is hand dyed and hand blocked printed by skillful artisans with love and precision. You might notice some imperfections - a testimony to the 100% original hand printing techniques. The colours might slightly differ due to lighting, photography and device.
Azulejo Blue ~ Mul
Mul (mulmul cotton) fabric is super soft, lightweight and breathable. The fabric readily absorbs moisture, is great to wear during hot Indian summers.
Each saree is approximately 5.5 m in length and 45 inches in width. All sarees come with an 80 cm unstitched blouse piece.
All sarees come with edging and tassels :)
