There is something about this sunshine-yellow mul cotton saree from Mogasu that instantly takes me back to Goa. Not the postcard beaches, but the quiet mornings—the soft golden light filtering through old Portuguese windows, the scent of the sea carried by a gentle breeze, unhurried walks under swaying coconut palms, and that unmistakable susegad rhythm of life.
The fabric is feather-light, breathable, and drapes effortlessly, making it perfect for slow summer days. The cheerful yellow isn't loud; it glows gently, much like a Goan sunrise that coaxes you into beginning the day without haste.
What I love most is that this saree doesn't just feel comfortable—it carries a mood. It reminds you to slow down, savour the morning, linger over a cup of coffee, and embrace the simple joy of being present. That's the essence of Goa, and somehow, Mogasu has woven a little of that susegad spirit into this beautiful mul cotton drape.
Love the sari! Bought it a few months back and recently got to wear it to a wedding in Gujarat. It’s so simple and chic
Just bought the Beira Mar saree from Mogasu and I’m head‑over‑heels! It’s a bright yellow with cute black block‑print details that make it feel so playful and happy. The cloth is super soft—like a little hug for my skin—and the colors are even prettier in real life. I can’t wait to drape it and show it off; I’m sure everyone will ask where I got it. If you want a piece of sunny Goa to wear, this one is a total must‑have!
This print is very different on a bright colour. Softness is Mogasu's speciality !
This is one of my first purchases from Mogasu. The yellow color is beautiful and the intricate prints which depict the goan beach elements are amazing. The tiny fish swirls are the cutest. And the saree is so soft, I swear it gets softer with each wear. The Beira mul is a stunning piece of art. Amazing beautiful saree.
