When you visit a beach, don’t you like collecting the sea shells and listening to the sounds of waves? That was the inspiration for Conchas (Portuguese for Shell)! The saree has three different shapes of shells all over and wavy lines at the border to represent the sea waves. You can also buy this in orange, green, purple, indigo and white.

An essential black saree

Having fallen in love with the white Conchas, I picked up the black version as well. The subtle weight of the linen holds down the fabric really well. The detailing on the saree border and pallu is insanely intricate. Its the saree version of the black dress. It can be worn literally anywhere with the right accessories. Its a true beauty and so true to the theme of goan beaches. What a privilege to be an owner of these.
