Sunbirds are tiny, shiny and fast. In fact, when the sun rays hits the bird, it appears shiny and purple. Our Sunbird saree is inspired by flocks of sunbirds flying against the yellow sun rays. This saree comes in the softest mul cotton fabric and keeps getting softer with every wash!

At Mogasu, apparel is hand dyed and hand blocked printed by skillful artisans with love and precision. You might notice some imperfections - a testimony to the 100% original hand printing techniques. The colours might slightly differ due to lighting and photography.

Fabric info

Mul (mulmul cotton) fabric is super soft, lightweight and breathable. The fabric readily absorbs moisture, is great to wear during hot Indian summers.

Each saree is approximately 5.5 m in length and 45 inches in width. All sarees come with an 80 cm unstitched blouse piece, edging & tassels.

Product care

Do expect colour bleeding during the first few washes. Avoid soaking the saree. Wash separately and line dry in the shade. Iron at low temperatures in reverse. Please check out our blogs for more details on wash care.

Shipping

We ship all our products from Goa through trusted courier partners like India Post, DTDC, etc. Consignment tracking number will be shared over email once the order is dispatched. Order usually takes 1-2 business days to process, and 5-7 business days to deliver.

All International orders are shipped via India Post and take 15-20 business days to deliver.

Big fan of the entire birds of Goa saree collection. The print and colors are so nuanced and unique. This sunbird saree is one of those sarees that will have people asking you where they can buy it. Its soft, its vibrant, its beautiful! I had the opportunity to drape it for a special home occasion, and Absolutely Love how it showed up on photographs. As always, big fan of all Mogasu mulcottons.
