Indian boho has its own flavour, it is not the desert festival boho of the West, or the tie-dye boho of the nineties. It is the saree worn with flat kolhapuris and a single earring. It is a hand block print on natural linen that you found from a small brand nobody else has heard of yet. It is the confidence of someone who dresses from her own reference points. At Mogasu, our Indian boho sarees are rooted in a specific place, the Goan coast, with its mix of Portuguese architecture, tropical nature and the kind of easy, unhurried beauty that the boho aesthetic has always been reaching for. Florals drawn from Goa's gardens. Coastal motifs from its shoreline. Quirky prints from its markets and festivals. Each design is custom-carved into a wooden block in Bagru, Rajasthan and pressed by hand onto natural fabric using azo free dyes. Made in small batches, in colours the artisans arrive at without a shade card. Free shipping India. Pre-washed, with matching blouse piece.
