The cool girl saree is not trying. It is a feni bottle repeat on natural linen. It is a deep indigo jaal on Kota Doria worn with white sneakers. It is the print that people notice without being able to explain immediately why they are looking, and then they lean in and realise it is a coconut crab, beautifully block printed, going about its business across the pallu. Cool is the absence of effort that is only possible after a great deal of taste has been developed. At Mogasu, we make for the woman who has done that work, who knows what she likes, who is not interested in what the mainstream recommends, who wears a saree because she genuinely wants to and styles it her own way. Our quirky, bold and unexpected prints are custom-carved into wooden blocks in Bagru, Rajasthan and pressed by hand onto mul cotton, linen and Kota Doria using azo free dyes. Small batches. Limited prints. Entirely not mainstream. Free shipping India. With matching blouse piece.
