At Mogasu, we did not set out to make cottagecore sarees for India. We set out to make sarees that reflected where we live, and it turns out that place is exactly what cottagecore is reaching for. Our botanical prints, our bird motifs, our nature-drawn florals, all of them come from the kind of slow, observant relationship with the natural world that the cottagecore aesthetic is built around.
