Our founder designs each motif at her studio on the Goan coast, florals, birds, Goan food prints, geometric tile patterns, jaal and booti, and works together with artisans in Bagru, Rajasthan, where craftsmen carve it into a custom wooden block made exclusively for Mogasu. No other brand prints from our blocks. No other saree carries our motifs. Each saree then takes between one and one and a half hours to print by hand, using azo-free dyes that are safe for skin and colourfast through washing.
