Slow Living Saree

Slow living is a choice to pay attention, to what you eat, where you go, what you wear and how it was made. A slow living saree is one that was not rushed into existence. One where the design came from genuine observation, the printing took the time it needed, and the fabric was chosen for how it feels rather than how it photographs.
At Mogasu, slow is not a marketing position, it is how we actually work. Our founder designs when Goa gives her something worth drawing. Our artisans in Bagru, Rajasthan spend between one and one and a half hours printing each saree by hand. We make in small batches because making more than we can make well is not something we are interested in.
The result is a saree that fits the slow living wardrobe completely,natural fabric, honest dye, a print that came from a real place and a real moment, made by real hands that were not in a hurry.
