Earthy Aesthetic Saree

The earthy aesthetic is grounded, warm and completely at home in nature, which makes it, at Mogasu, almost inevitable. Our founder designs surrounded by the earth tones of the Goan landscape: the deep red of laterite stone, the warm ochre of dried palm, the dusty brown of a country road in April. These colours were in our collection before earthy became a Pinterest category.
Our earthy aesthetic sarees work in terracotta, rust, warm ochre and the naturals of undyed fabric, hand block printed in Bagru, Rajasthan with botanical forms, bird prints and organic motifs that suit the palette they are printed in. The colours are mixed by artisan eye,  no shade card, just the accumulated knowledge of craftspeople who have been working in natural pigment tones for generations.
