Mogasu is an indie aesthetic saree brand in the fullest sense. Every print begins as a personal observation, something our founder saw, remembered or felt on the Goan coast,  and ends as a hand block print pressed onto natural fabric by artisans in Bagru, Rajasthan who have spent careers developing a skill that machines cannot replicate.
The woman who wears a Mogasu saree is not following a trend. She is expressing something about who she is, her taste, her values, her refusal to dress like a default setting. That is the only aesthetic we are interested in.
