If you are going to Goa, you want a saree that understands where it is going. Not a heavy silk that will suffocate you in the coastal humidity. Not a generic print that has nothing to do with the place. A Mogasu sae, light, breathable, hand block printed with motifs drawn from the exact coast you are visiting. Our founder lives in Goa. The prints she designs come from the beaches, markets, alleyways and gardens you will walk through on your trip. When you wear a Mogasu saree in Goa, you are wearing a saree that came from there, and that particular quality of being in the right place shows in photographs in a way that is difficult to explain and impossible to fake. Mul cotton and Kota Doria for beach days. Linen for the evenings. Chanderi for the one occasion on the trip that calls for something slightly more. All hand block printed in Bagru, all pre-washed, all ready to travel. Free shipping India. With matching blouse piece.
