Mul cotton is our most beloved fabric, the one our founder chose first when she began designing for the Goa coast. Its open weave keeps the air moving against the skin; its softness makes draping feel effortless; its weight, or rather its absence of weight, makes it the perfect companion for the long, beautiful, humid days that Goa offers in abundance. Each print is designed at our coastal studio and pressed into the fabric by skilled artisan hands in Bagru, a cashew blossom here, a geometric tile border there, the small Goan details that make every Mogasu saree unlike any other.
