Small batch saree production is the acknowledgement that making well has a natural upper limit. At Mogasu, that limit is built into our process, we make what our artisan partners in Bagru, Rajasthan can print to the standard our founder finds acceptable, and we do not push beyond it for the sake of volume.
This has practical consequences for the woman who buys Mogasu. When a print sells out, it is genuinely sold out,  we do not restock indefinitely. The saree you choose from our collection exists in a limited number of pieces, which means the print on your shoulder is unlikely to appear on someone else's at the same event. The exclusivity of Mogasu is not manufactured by artificial scarcity,  it is the natural result of making things the right way.
Small batch production also means every saree is checked before it is shipped. The colour is right because our artisans have the time to get it right. The print is aligned because quality matters more than speed.
