The most beautiful saree in the world means very little if you cannot breathe in it. At Mogasu, breathability is not a feature it is the foundation. Every breathable cotton saree in our collection was designed by someone who lived the problem before she solved it. Our founder, a NIFT-trained designer, relocated to Goa after her wedding and discovered that most of her wardrobe was incompatible with coastal life. Heavy fabrics, synthetic blends, thick weaves none of them worked. So she went back to her craft and built a brand around fabrics that genuinely feel good: mul cotton, linen, Chanderi and Kota Doria, each chosen for its ability to move air, release heat and keep the body cool. Each breathable cotton saree is then hand block printed in Bagru, Rajasthan, with prints designed in Goa. Goa-inspired motifs that carry the colour and warmth of the coast without any of the weight.
